What To Wear?

DSC_2199What should you wear to your photo session? We recommend several outfits. One or two that are casual. Clothes that are comfortable and fit your personality. We suggest that you bring one formal outfit. We encourage you to bring props of things you are doing this year. Sports, music, hobbies, cheer, band, special interests, etc. All of these will make your photos show the real you! We also have caps and gowns if you want a graduation photo.   Please note:  the graduation gown has a v-neck, so whatever you wear under the gown will show in your photos.

Some specific suggestions:

Girls

Makeup: Some is good, too much is bad. Use makeup as if you were going out for the evening. Too much eye shadow will not photograph well.

Tan lines can be retouched in your photos, with a small retouching charge. Please keep this in mind when deciding what to wear.

We have a full makeup/changing room in the studio. You can do your makeup and hair at the studio if you wish; just let us know when you make your appointment so we can schedule accordingly. There is no extra charge for this service.

Guys

If you are planning to get a haircut before your photo session, schedule it about a week before your photo appointment. If you come in with a fresh haircut, there will most likely be lines at the edge of your cut which will show up in photos.

Retouching Your Photos – Guys and Girls

We offer retouching for the images that you order. We remove minor blemishes, eye puffiness,  and stray hair. There is no extra charge for this.  There is a small additional charge for removal of braces, glasses glare and tan lines.

Need Ideas?

When you call to make your appointment, we will offer some suggestions for your clothing changes. We hope you will have ideas too! Look at photos and see what you like. Bookmark them on your phone and bring them with you to your photo session.

Most importantly, be yourself! That’s the whole reason for senior photos. You, your family and friends will want to see the real you! Just as importantly, be ready to have fun!
